A Little About Me
I’m Ridhi Rajak. I’m a young model and child artist from Kolkata, and I enjoy expressing myself through fashion, movement, creativity and performance.
I love being in front of the camera and trying different looks, expressions and styles. Every photoshoot gives me something new to learn, whether it is understanding a concept, working with a creative team or simply becoming more comfortable with expressing myself.
For me, modelling is not only about posing. It is about expressions, confidence, movement and bringing an idea to life through photographs.
More Than Just Being in Front of the Camera
Outside photoshoots, I enjoy doing things that keep me active and creative.
Dance is one of the things I enjoy most. I love expressing myself through movement and exploring how expressions and body language can tell a story without words.
I also enjoy playing badminton. It has taught me to stay focused, keep practising and work well with others. I think these experiences have also helped me become more confident when I am in front of the camera.
I like learning new things, meeting creative people and trying experiences that take me a little outside my comfort zone.
Dance
I express myself through movement and rhythm. Dance builds my confidence and lets me explore emotions through performance.
Creativity
I love exploring new ideas, experimenting with different styles and finding creative ways to express myself through photographs, movement and imagination.
Badminton
I enjoy playing badminton because it keeps me active, focused and teaches me the importance of practice, teamwork and staying positive.
My Journey
in Front of the Camera
My journey in front of the camera has introduced me to fashion, creative portraits, advertising concepts and different styles of photography.
I enjoy the process of preparing for a shoot, trying different expressions and understanding what each concept is trying to communicate.
Some shoots are about fashion and styling, while others are about creating a particular mood or telling a visual story. I enjoy experiencing these differences because every project gives me an opportunity to learn something new.
I’m still at the beginning of my journey, and I’m excited to keep learning, exploring and growing with every new experience.
My First Portfolio Shoot
My first professional portfolio shoot was a completely new experience for me. My mother contacted Ranjan Bhattacharya Photography to create my portfolio, and we visited the studio for the shoot.
Since it was my first time doing a portfolio shoot, feeling comfortable in front of the camera was very important to me. The entire team was kind, patient and supportive throughout the day, which helped me relax and enjoy the experience.
Working with a professional model portfolio photographer in Kolkata gave me the opportunity to experience how a professional photoshoot works, from preparing for the camera to trying different expressions, poses and looks.
Makeup artist Nanda Majumdar was also part of the shoot, and everyone worked together in a friendly and comfortable environment. I really enjoyed the experience and would be happy to work on more creative projects in the future.
THE FIRST SHOOT
My first portfolio shoot introduced me to professional photography, new poses, expressions and the excitement of being in front of the camera.
CREATIVE TEAM
Working together with the photographer, makeup artist and creative team made my first shoot feel comfortable, friendly and enjoyable.
GETTING READY
From choosing the right look to getting camera-ready, every little part of the shoot helped make the experience exciting and memorable.

When I’m
Not in Front of the Camera
When I’m not working on a photoshoot, I enjoy spending time doing the things I love. Dance and badminton are two of my favourite activities, and I also enjoy learning new things and spending time with family and friends.
I think having interests outside modelling is important because they help me stay curious, active and open to new experiences.
Whether I’m on a badminton court, practising dance or standing in front of a camera, I always try to enjoy the moment and give my best.
